set 中的元素顺序不是随机的，而是有序的，其顺序依赖其 hash 值。大家通常意义上的无序指不是按照插入序而已
至于每次启动 hash 值都不一样，是因为 Python 3 之后 hash seed 会是一个随机数，具体参见 https://docs.python.org/3/using/cmdline.html#cmdoption-r

Java 的一个语言特性而已

> If an integer operator other than a shift operator has at least one operand of type long, then the operation is carried out using 64-bit precision, and the result of the numerical operator is of type long. If the other operand is not long, it is first widened (§5.1.5) to type long by numeric promotion (§5.6).

> Otherwise, the operation is carried out using 32-bit precision, and the result of the numerical operator is of type int. If either operand is not an int, it is first widened to type int by numeric promotion.

所以显示声明是 long/(float|double)，换句话说等价于 double period = (end - start)/(double) 1000000;

BTW WSGI 只是一个标准而已

其实现有很多种，生产常用的 uWSGI，Gunicron，Web Framework 自带的如 Flask 的 Werkzurg，Python 官方库内置的 wsgiref 等
