@NemoAlex miniDP就和mini USB一样，只是size的区别，接口没有区别，线缆里面没有电路。Thunderbolt线缆里面有电路。

4GB on Windows 7 is enough to hang on for a while, down side is the price may rise if you waited too long...
The 2 x 4GB for that Mac Pro is a must, can't do anything with 4GB nowadays...

@Kai actually, the Mac Pro is for Xcode :)

1. It's OK. DVI/HDMI/DP are compatible. HDMI has a lower resolution limit(1920x1200). VGA is analog signal, DO NOT USE IT!

2. Thunderbolt = MiniDP + MiniPCIe
The physical interface is the same, so you can connect TB monitor to MiniDP port. But when you do so, you loose other TB benefits(like daisy chaining and USB hub/card reader).

The Dell one is fine if you're OK with 1080P resolution.
